John and I were out on a date for the first time in a LONG time! It felt strange being in the theater again for a movie. We are so used to watching them on dvd now. But what a treat to go out to the place we spent the majority of our time before Dean came along! Sitting still in the dark, I felt the familiar tap...tap...tap inside my tummy. And I instantly knew it was the baby kicking me! What fun to have that tiny reminder that I really am pregnant...because I forget sometimes (now that the "all-day" sickness has faded away!). Pretty soon those kicks will be keeping me up at night. Grow baby, grow!

...literally. I don't know what possessed this kid, but he sure had fun digging in the flower bed and coating himself in his new found treasure.

Dean had his first school performance when his class sang two songs at the end of the year program. He was so cute. They had to sit on the stage to sing. He waved to us in the crowd and was super proud of his styled hair!
