Here is what Dean prayed last night as we tucked him in bed.

"Tank you God fir dis day. Tank you fir momma n daddy n baby grow big strong. Dares a booger on my head."

I discovered that Dean can happily play in the backyard while I supervise from the air conditioned house. It has been a wonderful way for both of us to stay cool and happy!

We made a special trip to Granbury to visit Abby and see her new trampoline! She just turned three and Dean missed the party due to a freaky virus. We had a great time enjoying a day with the girls!

John and I were out on a date for the first time in a LONG time! It felt strange being in the theater again for a movie. We are so used to watching them on dvd now. But what a treat to go out to the place we spent the majority of our time before Dean came along! Sitting still in the dark, I felt the familiar tap...tap...tap inside my tummy. And I instantly knew it was the baby kicking me! What fun to have that tiny reminder that I really am pregnant...because I forget sometimes (now that the "all-day" sickness has faded away!). Pretty soon those kicks will be keeping me up at night. Grow baby, grow!
